Ablaze

June 2, Saturday. The moment that i have been waiting finally arrived. Yep, We Are In The Crowd concert in Manila! Oh no..not that, but yeah i'm kinda sad because wasn't able to see them. At that same date, we (the band) led the praise fest. Priceless.

So we started playing to gather the members of the community. I played the guitar a little. My most precious moment there is when I'm playing the bridge of the song "Through it All" repeatedly while our lead guitarist riffing his guitar. And our band mates were setting up the other instruments and the sound system. And then he's like "Ang galing natin, tayo background music nila habang nag aayos sila.". Something like that. And oh, just when I thought that he actually know me, he started calling me a different name. He called me, "Michelle" and I was like "that's my sister's name". Weird, i know. He called me that name like three to four times. Sadly, he never called my right name. So yeah after the sound check and stuff, the program started and then it's dinner time. So we played a bit while they were eating, and then their program continued while we eat. Then the praise fest started, that was my first time and it's really awesome. The goosebumps... amazing. Really priceless, I nearly cried. That feeling when you're singing with your eyes closed and everyone is singing with you. My co-singers were really impressive too. The whole band actually, they're really great. What a priceless experience.
So the praise fest was the last part, so meaning, it's time to go home. We ended the night with a closing prayer. I felt a bit sad 'coz I know that that'll be the last time that i'll be seeing our lead guitarist. He's just our mentor (lol something like that) so he'll not be part of our upcoming activities since he's a YFC while we're SFCs. He'd been nice to everyone so we'll be missing him. So yeah..we said our goodbyes and then went home.

I don't know where I got the guts to send a thank you message to our lead guitarist but i was so happy that he actually replied. Well, we're hoping to see him soon and we can't wait for our new activities. Exciting! On other hand, I can't find our photos from this activities. By the time it's already uploaded, I'll post it here.

PS. if you're thinking what's the connection of the title to this post, well it's our band's name ^_^
